Regular Season Review
Longtime Pro Cup fans were happy to see the reemergence of
Premiere Motorsports this season. Purkhiser piloted the No.
68n Ford to four top-10 finishes and nearly picked up his
first career win at Salem. Purkhiser also finished sixth in
laps led during the regular season.
Mansfield Preview
A win would be the icing on the cake for this team, but flat
tracks haven’t been kind to them this season. Purkhiser
finished 11th at Mansfield earlier this year and 14th at
Jennerstown. They may win a race in the Championship Series,
but Mansfield might not be the place. But getting out of
Mansfield with a top-10 finish would be a morale victory.

Cary, N.C.-It would have been easy for
the Premiere Motorsports team and their driver, Allen
Purkhiser, to hang their heads after the way they lost the
Lucas Oil 200 at Salem Speedway. But that’s not in the
character of a team that knows the ups and downs of racing all
too well.
